When we start a new project, business plan or venture many things should be emphasized, but one is particularly important: the customers.
This factor is one of the fundamental engines of any business, since they are the ones who consume our product or service. However, customers do not simply come on their own, you have to bring them to you. To do this, you have to create a specific strategy to showcase your project and attract people so they will first become interested in what you offer and, then, they will decide to buy it.
Today I would like to discuss how beneficial it is to approach your sales strategy as a gamble.
Let’s start with the fable of the gazelle and the cheetah.
One of the best ways to learn is by example, which is why today I want to share with you a little fable that I usually present in my workshop for entrepreneurs.
Once upon a time, there was a cheetah that wanted to hunt a gazelle. He tried several times without success, because there were many distractions: other animals, the gazelle was very fast, etc. But, as the cheetah was very focused and concentrated, he tried again. And this time he succeeded: he managed to catch the gazelle.
We can compare this fable to the search for new clients. How? Well, the cheetah’s exercise is similar to the one we should do.
First, you must work on planning your strategy and turn it into a bet. Establish goals, objectives and steps to follow so you can know what you are going to do regardless of the obstacles since you already know what you are betting on.
Second, you have to clearly define your customers and then go after them without deviating, just like the cheetah did. There will be competition, distractions, lack of time, etc. but, it is important that you have determined your target group and go after them.
This fable is a great example that shows that if you plan your strategy in advance, you will know exactly what steps to take to achieve your ultimate goal.
Remember that it’s all about planning, betting and, above all, figuring out a good blueprint to follow. Nothing works by itself, we are the ones in charge of recruiting the customers that will be really interested in our business. We just have to be more strategic, just like the cheetah.
I hope these tips have helped you! See you on my website.
